WHAT IS
?
High Intensity Discharge (HID) is a
new type of lighting technology that is primarily different from the
conventional halogen bulbs that use a heated tungsten filament.
Unlike Halogen lamps, High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps don't
have a filament but create light by the arc between two electrodes.
The arc activates the Xenon, which in turn ignites the metal halide.
The light produced by an HID Xenon lighting system is greater than a
standard halogen bulb and with less power consumption. On the road,
HID Xenon lighting system appears as a bright white beam which
resembles natural daylight. The bright white beam offers greater
visibility and road safety.
In an HID Xenon lighting system for
automobile, the voltage between the two electrodes rises firstly
from 12V to 23000V and keeps stable at 83V by using the Xenon HID
ballasts system. Due to the ultra high voltage, the Xenon gas
ionizes and a super-bright beam is produced, whose color temperature
is up to 12000K. The HID Xenon lighting is much more economic, more
stable and brighter than the conventional automobile lighting.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Many people ask the same
questions about the different Kelvin scales associated with HIDs.
Kelvin refers to the blackbody characteristics of sunlight. The
bulbs are not really 12000K because that will melt not only your
housing, but your car and everybody inside. All HIDs are so bright,
they are gauged to sunlight and the color the sun will be at that
temperature. At 4000K, which the sun is, the light is yellow/white.
As the temperature goes up, so does the wavelength at which the
light peaks. At 6500K, you get more of a pure white light and
gradually work up to 8300K (blue/white) to 10,000K (pure blue) to
about 12000K which is purple. The lumens peak at about 4000-6000K,
but only a light meter will be able to tell the difference. HIDs are
always going to be at least 3 times as bright as any halogen bulb.
INSTALLATION
Installation is a very simple
process. It is literally plug and play. Many first timers can
usually figure it out, but we do recommend professional
installation.
All cars have different bulb sizes. Our kits are designed to fit
your original stock headlamp sockets and no modifications will be
required. HIDs are so bright, most people find that they do not even
miss their high beams. Only H4s are made in Dual filament high/low
beams.

electromagnetic interference keep you away from worry.

farther place. It can even radiate to small stones and roadside
ditches.

Service life is 3000 hours, greatly above total hours of an
automobile during normal night.

Installation: Xenon lamp adapter is
inserted into the original lamp holes, install the fixing device and
connect the power cords and power cable. No modification is
required for changing existing parts and components.
WARRANTY
Warranty
Coverage on Bulbs, Ballasts and Igniters:
We offer a limited warranty period of one (1) year from the date of
purchase.
Exclusions:
Any defects resulting from water damage, fire, acts of nature,
misuse, abuse, modification, improper installation, vehicle crash,
or any type of impact. Any modification to the system or operating
on a vehicle with a damaged headlight housing will void the
warranty. Xenon Vision HID will not be responsible for damages to
automobiles resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use our
products.
Repair or
Replacement: If
a product is suspected of being defective, please contact us as soon
as possible to try to resolve any problems before they escalate.
The returned product will be inspected by the manufacturer. If the
product is found to be defective and covered by this Warranty, it
will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's option. Any
charges accrued for removal, installation, or reinstallation will
not be covered by this warranty.
All claims will be thoroughly considered and you will be contacted
promptly with a resolution. Xenon Vision HID does not endorse any illegal
use of the HID conversion kits.
